From now on, I will no longer be honest and think about being treated fairly by people.

Not sure really, mental illness has left so many burnt bridges behind, no one around anymore to point it out to me.
meh it’s the same dude. I have a partner and all he says is ‘you look nice’ after 2 hour makeover.

Wow, that saddens me to hear you say that @sleepybug. I think you are one of the strongest people on here. No one gets treated respectfully all the time by everyone. You got to choose your battles and use your wiles to make yourself happy.
You may be discouraged about speaking up for yourself, but even if you just have a seed planted in your mind that. “Hey, this isn’t right” when people are taking advantage you, than that may be just enough to make you win in the end. There’s nothing wrong with giving someone what they want occasionally but thinking of yourself first sometimes doesn’t hurt either.
