I think i will be prescribed one soon since prozac made me sleepy so that wont be an option what benzo do you guys take ??

lucky lucky you, my psychiatrist has a zero tolerance policy against benzos

Benzos are more trouble than they’re worth. And getting high before a social event won’t help you.
Good options for anxiety are gabapentin and beta blockers.

What is the point of taking benzos when your body will probably just get used to them after a while and they won’t work anymore? And then when you want to stop taking them you could experience withdrawals. Doctors are reluctant to prescribe them for a reason.
I think benzos work similarly to alcohol. So similar they can be used to treat alcohol withdrawal.

Sorry late reply - I prefer the benzos when they decide to give them to me. Always been a bit worried about gabapentin - my nieghbour constantly gets high off them , by breaking the capsule and snorting it. Disgusting i know - she is addicted to them and always running out too soon. Its put me off asking for them.

I take Buspar which is not a benzo

I take seroxat antidepressants and it helps with that alot
