In some areas I’m neat. My bedroom is messy though. Like no stray clothes or anything but just too much stuff. I’m kinda in between messy and neat.
I dont like bekng messy. I just recently spent 2 days organising things in the house.

I’m generally tidy, but my wife is a neat freak. She gets irritated when I don’t clean the kitchen until after the meal is cooked. She tries to clean while cooking, which results in unintentionally blackened food. We’re currently looking at building a new home. She wants to have a formal sitting room that no one actually sits in or uses. It’s just to look at or maybe to impress the kind of people you don’t want as friends. She keeps talking how nice and clean it will be. I told her no freaking way. So, uh, that’s tense.
The other point of contention is her wanting a guest room. I don’t want guests because I know that guests = her family. I’m especially paranoid about giving her mother any opportunity to move in. Her mom is a packrat so it would be fun to see what that does to El Wife’s cleaning OCD.
I think I’ll leave some dirty dishes on the counter tonight and send her the link in the morning when I get waggy finger.
