Because id do almost anything for him. Hes the first person to truly love me. Hes the first person ive loved and felt relatively secure with. I have a lot of trauma and it gets in the way sometimes but he always manages to extend a hand when i need it the most depsite his own problems. Im worried about him right now because his utilities might get shut off soon and i cant help. It hurts me that i cant and that hes going through that. We are both food insecure.

Great pic! I’m sorry you’re both going through this. There are programs out there that help low income people with food and utilities. Have you looked into them?

Check out if your local food bank has emergency food boxes for distribution, and if there are any food pantries around where you can shop for free food. Food banks don’t usually require you to be under a specific income to qualify for resources. I use the local food bank a lot because my food stamps doesn’t cover much each month and they really help. Also, when you get your food stamps, you can buy food from Amazon with your card, which can be cheaper than the stores on certain items. Good luck!

Where I live most food banks require that you’re on food benefits with snap ebt bridge card from the government.
However, there are some that don’t so it’s worth calling around and finding out where you can get food from if you don’t meet those income requirements.
