Anyone here familiar with this? It’s supposed to be a way to train yourself to not have anhedonia. I guess the idea is if there’s something you used to like to do but don’t enjoy anymore, you can get back to normal if you make yourself do it a little bit at a time even if you don’t want to.
I can’t seem to get myself to do this for some reason. My mind just goes “what’s the point?”. As a result I spent a lot of time each day just sitting around. I don’t know if I’m just worn out from dealing with other symptoms and I don’t want to trudge myself through something I’m not going to enjoy, but even though conventional wisdom is that behavioural activation works, I can’t seem to see the value in doing it.
