Trancers with Tim Thomerson and Helen Hunt is low-budget sci-fi treat that hit theatres a month after the Terminator. It featured a unique time-travel concept just like Terminator did, but lacked the other film’s budget and obviously lacked Cameron’s masterful touch. The movie’s saving graces were Thomerson and Hunt. His cheesy acting was on point and Hunt is fantastic in any role she is in, period. It’s a movie I’d love to see remade with a better budget, but I do hope they find a way to include the original actors in it out of respect.
Nothing concrete comes to mind. I guess I don’t have this in mind when I watch movies. But if the movie is bad it’s usually because of the production, and not the story I feel.
I’m convinced the Nightmare on Elm Street reboot would have been a success with better casting. The script could have stayed the same. Man that casting was terrible.
It was almost the same movie except for the decision to highlight SA. Rorshack was very short, not physically intimidating and not familiar with the source material. Also I didn’t care for the Batman voice. Agree to disagree I guess. I just hope they try again someday because it’s my favorite franchise and I loved it in the 80s and 90s.
