Yeah unfortunantly almost had to go to jail because they lied

No not really but still, cops scare the shitt out of me

Hmmm…
Had a few interactions back in the day pre-psychosis.
They range anywhere from a cop asking why I was crying on the sidewalk at 3am (hammered and very emotional about how recycling is so important), to getting pulled over for a “rolling stop” (had two beers and the lady cop made me park my car on the side of the road and then drove me home. She was actually campus police from the college in town, and was a decent human).
Mostly vehicle infractions, tbh.
I’m lucky, considering I’ve done some pretty dumb stuff in my day.
(Knocking on wood I don’t jinx myself and bring on more police scrutiny, what with the climate these days as well as my illness).

Yeah, around 1988 I was partying with these two girls in my Cadillac and a cop rolled up and I got caught with a used syringe and $40 worth of crack in my car. More cops came and they put me in handcuffs and stuck me in the back of a cop car. One cop really didn’t like me and when he came back to question me he jabbed me hard in the face with his finger several times, drawing blood. But for some reason they let me go.

I was drunk with a former friend and we asked the cops to takes us home. They got offended and told us they could only take us to jail. Nothing happened fortunately, i’m never doing that kind of ■■■■again.

I had a few run-ins with the law when I was younger, but nothing too heavy. Just having fun and being an arse, LOL

My Mom dated a cop that raped at the time my 14 year old sister regularly. He threatened us with his gun and badge and said he could set up a crime scene that would make it our fault while he held a gun on us. He even impregnated her. She was so scared she told my mom it was with a boyfriend. My mom took her for an abortion. It was our only proof.
She didn’t leave him until he tried to get me to have sex with both him and my mom, when I was 12, that she believed there was a problem and left him.

I’ve had many interactions with the police, most of them resulting from the need to be hospitalized. I really haven’t had too many bad experiences with the po-po, generally they’ve been very respectful and not too rough. I’ve only been arrested once, and they were pretty nice while taking me to jail, but the jail guards were pretty much a-holes…only spent one day in jail, it wasn’t terrible.
The hospital security was way worse than the city police, they tackled me once and one put his knee on the side of my head on the floor.
The last couple years I’ve been involved with NAMI CIT (crisis intervention training) for first responders and tell them the things that haven’t worked when interacting with them, and the things that were helpful. I enjoy this immensely and feel that my experiences might actually help someone else in the future.
