Been on it for 5 years, on a high dose it’s a great med for racing thoughts/“hyperactive minds” (and sleep, depression, depersonalization, agitation, restlessness)!
Though, never mix it with Latuda, you will regret it instantly, the two together will most likely unleash havoc on your mental health.
Why not mix it with Latuda, please explain? I’m not taking any of these drugs but am considering starting mirtazapine so want to know what to avoid…
They interact. I guess because they work on some same receptors. From my experience I get sedation and stimulation at the same time, it makes me kind of hypomanic. I notice an increase in restlessness, (severe) agitation and (severe) increase in depressive symptoms but at the same time I get stimulated which makes me kind of over confident (hostile). It’s hard to explain how I feel on it really but it’s not a ride I can sit out.
Mirtazapine is a very clean and effective antidepressant drug, especially if you are prone to having an overactive mind. (Except the temporary weight gain when you get on it.)
I would love some weight gain, I am trying to add weight. I am worried about serotonin syndrome, I am very sensitive to increases in the levels of serotonin.
My wife takes Latuda with mirtazapine so what are the side effects I should watch out for. She has already had a change in behavior. She’s easily aggravated and when she gets to a certain point she’s hostile towards me??
