was wondering if anyone uses Ayurvedic/traditional medicine to help with anxiety caused by antipsychotics or other side effects.
I use the following supplements
https://www.iherb.com/pr/doctor-s-best-l-theanine-with-suntheanine-150-mg-90-veggie-caps/12959
https://www.iherb.com/pr/source-naturals-broccoli-sprouts-extract-250-mg-60-tablets/2456
And as a PRN for anxiety I use this
https://www.iherb.com/pr/now-foods-sports-beta-alanine-endurance-750-mg-120-veg-capsules/13949
They work for me.
I used to take Bacopa for memory. Can’t remember if it helped, it was long time ago. I also tried Ashwagandha, indian ginseng, its supposed to increase energy and libido, also reduce stress as its an adaptogen.
Black Myobalan…hmmm
I found this: props to FireMonkey for posting.
Yes, ayurvedic medicines might have negative effects if used incorrectly, or if you don’t follow your doctor’s advice.
The use of nootropics long term can permanently down regulate the brain and then when they are removed the brain cannot bounce back to normal activation. That’s why I decided to go with the brain training route rather than the supps route. I have hit upon a few training techniques to reduce the negs, or at least they worked for me.
ummm… which knows about
Dont expect pills to make the side effects go away.
If you’re really worried about the side effects, just drink coffee and exercise.
The more you move around, the less you’ll worry.
Hope this helps.
