I am receiving these photos from another person who is in Poland. I have never been in Poland and I would like to visit Poland. Maybe after this corona pandemic is over, although the corona situations are quite bad in many countries currently.

Do they have already snow in the Upper Peninsula in Michigan? I was there one year in 1989-1990.
They probably have no snow yet according to their weather forecast,
I don’t think they’ve gotten snow yet.
My grandfather is from the UP. He said he saw it snow on the 4th of July once.

Here where I am it snowed in the beginning of June in 1982, I still remember it. In winter it snows a lot in Houghton and Hancock. I still remember how I spent my time in the computer lab in one winter Saturday evening when it snowed a lot outside. I think that my experience in the UP was good. Well it is already 31 years ago.

I love Houghton and Hancock. I contemplated moving there. My dad lives in Marquette.
Currently I’m 2 blocks north of Detroit. I hear gunshots every night. There are some stupid people around here.

In March 1990 I had a meeting in Atlanta. I flew to Atlanta from Marquette via Detroit. When I came back from Atlanta there was a snow storm in Marquette and when we landed the plane went to a snowbank… Fortunately nothing really serious happened and I got a limo transportation to Houghton where I studied.
I have heard that nowadays Detroit is quite violent. The UP was great.

Yeah last time I was up there I stopped to get gas. I asked the lady for $20 on pump 5. She said “oh honey you need to pump before you pay”
Not around here they’d rob the place blind.
Just the other day a lady walked into the dollar general at the end of my street. She and her kids walked out with a bunch of stuff without paying. They just walked in and grabbed what ever they wanted.
Lady at the gas station told me a lady with her kids walked in and the kids started filling their pockets with candy. The clerk said “hey your kids are stealing” The mom replied my kids wouldn’t do that.
People around here are rude aggressive and have no more sense of right or wrong then a tree frog.
I go to the gas station late at night. It’s only a mater of time before some dummy with an IQ of 65 sticks a gun in my face.
I’m at my whit’s end with the bs around here. The only reason I’m here is to take care of my grandmother. When she’s gone I’m leaving.
