In some ways I can see that with this illness because it has forced me to take a hard look at my flaws. However I think it has been in an excessive way and the end doesn’t justify the means.

I understand. I am not sure about myself. Maybe this quote does not work for our illness, it is pretty harsh but we have transformed into different people by it, don’t you think?
It just makes me even more depressed honestly. The person I was before was much happier and content.
