Any of you guys audit courses? My psychiatrist wants me to start getting out more and says this would be a step in the right direction. Only thing is I have to pay full tuition to audit at my local community college
https://www.edx.org/ is free. They have chat rooms.
I wish I had time to audit courses. Sounds great. All the fun of learning with no stress of grades or assignments.
I signed up for edex’s course on Ignorance but I haven’t worked on it yet.
Auditing … sounds fun, in my old life in America I did auditing in international companies, actually I was a well trained and certified auditor in the quality world …my life changed when I became ill … there are many auditing standards …
I can’t even imagine auditing a real class. I was at a community college years ago but my attention span really didn’t let me concentrate. I’m sure that has not improved.
I’ve been an online student for a long time and that is going well. It has its own unique challenges even relating to the social aspects of discussion forums but certainly doesn’t have the social challenges of a class at a brick-and-mortar school. That sounds like it could be really beneficial.
I’m confused about one thing, though: if you are going to pay full tuition, why not enroll?
Good luck!
