One thing I really love is contour drawing, it completely takes your mind off of getting something ârightâ, basically take your object, landscape, model, keep your eye on them and without looking at the page⌠Draw! I like using ink with this, so a simple ballpoint pen/fine liner. Try doing it overlapping so draw one over the other, over the other and so on. Do it with your non dominant hand (this works better with me for some reason). Now⌠You can go fast and slap dash, you can go super slow and really, really look at what youâre drawing. Set time limits, but most of all, have fun!
It can be really funny how wrong things can go but as you werenât looking it disconnects you from that logical âitâs utter rubbishâ feeling. Itâs an art all of its own, and a great experiment ! So Iâm hoping someone can get something from it!
This is a Motherâs Day card I did a few weeks ago.
Acrylic, spray paint, sharpie.
I donât like the sharpie effect.
Got another in the works.
I love that Motherâs day present! Beautiful!
Collage is fun. You never know what youâre gonna get. I like contour drawing too.I had forgotten.

Page 12: I was able to be a great adventurer for one week, and not a girl with a boyâs name,
Page 13: not a girl who lives in an apartment, not a girl who canât whistle.
Page 14: After all of this forgetting do you know what I found out on the 2nd day?

if youâre looking for inspiration and have the attention span for it, watch the movie Naked Lunch. if that doesnât get your creative juices flowing, nothing will.
When its all a conspiracy against you everywhere you go including here its best time to do artGonna make some kind of ridiculous Print on books a whole bookshelf damn it Iâve read ever one of those books
This is a cool video and inspiring. I donât think you need an art show though to feel happy with what you create.
My kid liked the seed above so she commishioned a chunky rasta one.
Fun day.
My hands are so damn shaky though I had to stop.
To be continued.
I worked on a story years ago about Christ and the Devil returning to earth on the Internet. Christâs handle is âThe Carpenterâ and he chases the Devil whose handle is âHornyâ, off of an adult website.
Then the two of them do battle throughout the webâŚon all different types of sitesâŚultimately ending up with Horny almost causing a Nuclear WW3âŚonly to be stopped at the last second by all of the weak, sick and mentally ill posters of the world who believe that the Carpenter is indeed the second coming of Christ.
I wrote about a hundred pages about it, but never followed through. Perhaps Iâll revisit this story line one day. To finish it in book form would be my goal.
I love this painting!!!
Iâve been writing a bit more lately. I love painting in oils because of their fluidity and brightness. Iâll share my paintings and possibly start selling them.
Thank you! Iâve just started painting really. Iâve done more pen and ink and sketch/lay out work than anything else.
Getting back into inkscape/illustrator as well. Love a good logo.
Metal working is my fav Iâd say.
Very hard to focus without meds right now.
Iâd love to see your work.
