had a great day around a fire today, had the Kelly kettle on and made some nice decorations with wool and leaves dipped into wax on a stick :slightly_smiling_face:

I love the smell of bonfires, and the way it brings people together. I can sit and stare at the flames for ages.

I love bonfires, too. Here in the US we sometimes roast hot dogs or marshmallows over the fire.

We make ‘snobrød’, which is a dough you wrap around a stick, and then roast ont he fire until it hardens like a sort of bread.
It’s delicious.
I do like marshmallows, though. Especially with nutella and crackers

i think i’d like to have a fire out my back but its communal and neighbour may complain :confused: i might do it anyway haha

we had hot chocolate, nettle tea, and soup

We wrapped dough around a stick and roasted it, too. Then, when we slid it off the stick, we put margarine and jam down the hole. Yummy.

We made s’mores. With melted marshmallows and chocolate sandwiched between two graham crackers. Dough on a stick sounds yummy :yum:
