Army bootcamp

I moved up before bootcamp and did paperwork and filed stuff and worked in soldiers boot shop before being medically discharged. Does that mean I was part of army even if I’m not officially considered a soldier? Since I did work and get paid or is that just generic discharge stuff?

Not to sound disrespectful or weird. Just kinda random thought.

My mental health was not then although few spells not what was now and hadn’t been hospilized or on meds

Medically discharged during bootcamp at ft Jackson and then did office work and worked with soldiers boot shop during bootcamp.

If that makes any sense. Basically medically discharged during bootcamp but did other generic work and got paid
