On the bus I think negative thoughts about other travelers but I think it’s mostly down to my irritability

I try not to make eye contact with anybody when I am on my own outside. I don’t know if that’s nasty, but its a pretty crappy coping mechanism.

I only go to work and shopping so don’t really see many people, Think I act pretty normal when I do

we were at the DMV and the guy next to us, openly started talking to us, about his life, and problems, and everything else,

its a room full of strangers, and you just don’t do that.

Outside waiting for my ride, there’s not much room between the outer wall and the sidewalk. I kind of skirt away from people a little as they pass, especially attractive women. But I like being out there around people despite the cigarette smoke. Being within inches of people I don’t know is awkward though. I don’t think I stare or frown. Perhaps I look pained occasionally.

I get paranoid if I make eye contact. I don’t like it at all. It’s good to know that majority of people don’t like it either. I get what your saying, if I make eye contact with a person for just a few seconds it really freaks me out.

I try to avoid people but when I do encounter them I’m polite.

I’m not nasty. People are nasty to me. Like this snarling woman and people who ignore you if you say hello. They side with liars and think they brainwash people. I really don’t care how rude, liars can be.

I try to be courteous to strangers, hold doors open, etc. I think courtesy is important. That being said, I abuse the hell out of any telemarketing scumbag who calls me. Made a couple cry so far this year which you get bonus points for.

I too try to be as nice as possible. People terrify me though so sometimes what can be construed as snobbish silence is actually extreme fear.
