Are you lactose intolerant?

When I was a teen I’d eat cereal with milk no issues. But now if I drink milkshakes from the supermarket I get diarrhea a few hours later. It sucks. Cheese and yoghurt I’m fine with though.

I get stomach pain from eating certain types of cheese and strained yogurt (Labneh in Arabic).

I love it too but since a couple of years I get stomach pain from it idk why, maybe heartburn. Next time I will take Tums antacid afterward to see if its a heartburn. My mother has IBS, idk if I have it.

Regular milk gives me diarrhea.
I drink Lactaid, lactose free milk.

They don’t sell lactose free milk in my local supermarket, otherwise I’d buy it

I’m a little intolerant. I recently started taking the lactase enzyme pills before a dairy-rich meal, which seems to help.

Mostly I just try not to eat too much dairy these days.

70% of adults have lactose intolerance. Sad.

But there’s lactose free milk, it’s pretty affordable. They put the lactase enzyme in it and it turns lactose into a harmless sugar.

However milk gives me arthritis, due to another sugar in it, Neu5GC. Pretty much inflammatory for everybody, you can’t develop a resistance to it.

In the future I feel there will be another enzyme that neutralizes that sugar and allows it to be a safe beverage to drink often.

Same here. I can only eat cheese though, no yogurt unless it’s lactose free.
