Are you alone when you're alone?

Do you have privacy? I have none while that **** is home. I don’t know how to describe it. People have radar or senses or whatever. It wouldn’t bother me except if I show a second of weakness or uncertainty or doubt he pounces on it. Is it possible to ever really be alone? I guess it bugs me because I don’t do it to him, he has the whole room to himself but has to listen to me in mine. Just one more double standard of my life.

I live with dad. He uses the tv and I use my computer. If it’s getting where I need my space I put on headphones and play my games or watch my shows.

It’s hard with other people who aren’t family. I can relate because you never can just relax…but there’s things you can do. Put on some headphones. Listen to music and browse the boards…It makes it easier for me for sure doing my own things regardless.

Thankfully I live by myself so alone time is 98% of the time. Having someone else around all the time would be unacceptable at this time. I rarely get lonely, just being able to do what I want when I want cancels it out or something.

Yes, I’m alone when I’m at home, and I don’t like it. I’m going to at least get a roommate I’ve decided.

I put on headphones when they start. I find the idiots standing over me in the bathroom disgusting. Maybe the guy will get evicted. Does he follow you around Nick?

For the longest time I never felt alone but that feeling has returned lately.

I like living alone. I’m not totally on own as there is the telephone but I like peace and quiet

We have more privacy in the new rental home than we did the condos with neighbours above and also on both sides. The ones in the back could also see into our home if curtains were open. You could hear what they were doing and vice versa.

Here at the house we know they’re keeping an eye on the yard because the previous renters here were supposedly quite vile. I think the entire loop we live on breathed a collective sigh of relief that first weekend where the lawn was mowed, trees trimmed, and flower beds weeded. It’s not uncommon to see neighbours walking past and peeping our place. I keep the blinds mostly closed.
