Are you allowing yourself to feel successes?

My former self was a nose to the grindstone type of worker who could never feel success. Now that I know what alternative ways of living are, I am noticing that I never allowed myself to feel success after doing a good job. I can thank my nervous breakdown for changing my view of life.

Sure, but you have little successes. You got out of bed today, right?

I think I would like to take time to celebrate even the little accomplishments on my path to succeeding at the bigger goals that I’m setting for myself. I have not taken the time to thank myself for getting me this far.

With all that we are up against we should be proud we have even made it through at all.

I fear success, anytime I get close to it I do something to screw it up. I’ve always been good at failure.

My success is just getting through the day. I have no friends, just 2 pets. Coming here helps a lot.

I think that’s because with success comes added responsibility.

Yeah I believe your right and I fear screwing up that responsibility

I’ve never succeeded at anything my whole life. I failed as a wife, mother, nurse, beautician, business woman, musician, career military woman, lesbian. I failed at literally everything I’ve ever put my mind to.

But, you could say that I’m a successful sister, aunt, friend, piano student, yogini, meditator, Christian, Spanish student, landlord, veteran, resident of a retirement center.
