Are you able to replay music in your head?

Try one of your favorite works or songs that you love hearing… What do you feel if you try to remember how it sounds? I feel like I’m hearing a ghostly performance. I can hear different instruments even. It’s as if I’m remembering a performance. It’s an audio memory.

Do you do music in your head? I just had assumed everyone could do that …

Yep often. My mind also makes up its own music. Mostly orchestral.

If it’s regular songs I’ve heard then I can change it like a radio instantly.

It can be tiring lol

nope
and i have trouble recognizing words in songs

My mind often plays music in my head. Sometimes it is music I enjoy, other times it isn’t. It is usually music I have heard in my life, though.

Yes, all the time. Sometimes I can’t make it stop though, and it drives me crazy.

No, this doesn’t happen to me. But for some reason, sometimes I’ll wake up with a song in my thoughts.

I wake up with a different song in my head everyday. And it plays on repeat.

You are a natural composer if is a song you have never heard before. Learn how to read and write music and you can be a composer.

No, it’s all songs I’ve heard before.

Sometimes I wake up from sleep with original music in my head. I’m a composer and I know how to write music so, I hum the tune that I heard in my head into my smartphone recorder and then later on, I write the score out on manuscript paper. This is a God given talent I have.
I also sometimes hear music hallucinations. But that is not anything that you can compose. That is all just jumbled music sounds.

Music gets composed in my head all the time I just don’t know what to do with it

I hear music in my head a lot. Usually I can’t remember every word though. I always remember the chrous, but not the other parts. I usually remember the melody.

I like it. It doesn’t bother me that much.

I constantly have music running through my head. It sucks, and Risperdal was one of the few things that actually stopped it, but I hated Risperdal so I switched to Abilify.

“Are you able to replay music in your head?”

unfortunately yes. I hate most lyrical music. part of my MI.

I’ve reversed it though. I listen to non-lyrical music, over and over again. now non-lyrical music plays in my head. I’m okay with it.
