I think just equate the word God to the word good and you should be fine, that’s probably the closest most of us will ever get to understanding the notion of omnipotence. Religious discussion is against forum rules. Try not to feel bad when the topic is locked. A higher power I suppose isn’t necessarily religious in nature, it can also be a way to describe something greater than oneself alone, like what is good or an improvement for people as a whole I suppose.

i believe the universe is arquiteched in a way such that every thing you let be born in your head comes back to you. you project. the universe responds. it is beautiful. universe, god, t-rex, whatever you wanna call it. it is a law. i tested it again and again. at least that is how the band plays for me. it may play a different tune for you. i am not preaching.

Seriously though, guys we probably shouldn’t discuss this here. Maybe you guys can talk about it in a PM. I know everyone has handled themselves with maturity thus far and I don’t have any personal problem with anyone here or what has been posted but continuing the thread is sorta rule breaking and goodness knows I bend the guidelines plenty as it is. In short, it will get to the point in which insults are flung or personal remarks are made and it never ends well, that is what always happens with religious discussion here… go figure.

To the OP: a Higher Power can be anything really, Jesus, crystals, Satan, communism.
It’s anything above you that gives you strength.
