I am committing to a PHD in Statistics. I have had a hiatus in my academic pursuits, however. So, I am working on a Master’s in Statistics first (hopefully).
Anyone successfully completed Graduate studies in a scientific subject?

I started a PhD on the mathematics of calculus from a foundational level, but never got any original results so was awarded an MPhil, it took me five years what with all my psychotic relapses.

I don’t have problems with coming out with original stuff.
