I’m looking at doctors for when I go out to Olympia and this one doctor does therapy too. Anyone see the same person for psychiatry+therapy

Yes! I love it, strongly recommend doing that if you find someone good.

Well I don’t have a psychologist but my psychiatrist gives me therapeutic techniques to deal with the heavy stuff.

It would be good if you can get both services from one person.

I have just started seeing a clinical psychologist. She is a senior staff member with loads of experience.

I used to, but we didn’t do too much therapy, had some talks about social issues and motivation. Now I’m seeing the GP only, but this guy was great for me.

Does the gp prescribe benzos?

well she doesn’t to me… I don’t take them. I got some lorazepam left from when I had trouble sleeping with voices, so I could take that if needed. I am on aripiprazole only and the GP gives me my prescriptions. Oh and does some checks every half a year like bloodpressure etc.
