Anyone lost weight eating three meals a day and not snacking? I’ve been doing this for two days and exercising.
It’s all about counting calories. You could eat a huge pizza in just one meal and be over your calorie limit.
Most nutritionists recommend 3 small meals and two small snacks a day with calories approx 1500-2000. That varies a lot from person to person.
Some people say to have a banana before bed to have a better sleep.
Personally I do cereal in the morning and real food for dinner and I’m still overweight
I love eating. I am kind of depressed, it gives me something to look forward to. I did intermittent fasting, eating a meal at 4 and 8:30, lost a lot of weight that way but I think I am weight stable at around 200 lbs. Fasting makes me crabby, too.
I’d rather be overweight and happy than thin and annoyed all the time.
Coming from someone like myself who was a dedicated athlete and bodybuilder in order to lose weight fast and in a healthy way eating the right portion meal 3 times and 2 healthy snacks in between meals is important. You want to have the right nutrition in your body as well as the right fuel to exercise and then recover your body after exercise.
The only time I get three meals is when I’m hospitalized. I don’t lose or gain weight during that time. I’d imagine if you ate three meals, snack healthy, and exercise, you’ll lose weight.
I don’t lose weight but I don’t gain it. I’ve been on Zyprexa for about 7 months and still weigh the same 185 lbs. I did when I started. I usually eat three meals a day and I never snack.

I started using My Fitness Pal to chart my food and steps. I think it is helping me to at least make better food choices and work towards staying under 1500 calories a day. I eat three meals though.
My x boyfriend lost 15 kg just by skipping lunches.
I am trying to have only three meals a day but to make my lunch small such as only fruit, nuts and coffee and not a more fattening lunch.

I want to have snacks as going so long with out eating is difficult for me.

I adore eating though and still have ice cream etc but not often.

I wake around noon every day so that means I necessarily miss breakfast. I eat lunch, dinner, and two snacks every day and I maintain my weight. My BMI is normal.

I used to lose weight while I slept until lunch time. I also lost weight in my sleep by going to bed hungry. I can’t do that anymore.
