For example: If it is a nice hot and sunny day I would tell someone that it is a nice warm day. That person would then reply… Oh it is so cold I can barely come out of the house.
Why do some people do this. It frustrates me terribly. Please I need some understanding in this matter cause it involves people near and dear to me.

Hey, I think you’re reading too much into these interactions. I’m pretty sure even if there is some weird explanation behind the complexity of these interactions, it isn’t anything bad. 
Complex it is indeed. I also like to think of it that not any harm is meant in such replies…I was just hoping there was an easy explanation so that I can try and understand. Thanks for your reply.
