Anyone here with a learning difficulty that was diagnosed before schizophrenia?

I was diagnosed with dyslexia what about you?

I was also diagnosed with dyslexia in middle school.

Wasn’t diagnosed with schizophrenia until 19.

I don’t think I have dyslexia, I think I was just unable to learn because of positive symptoms.

I was in special education part time from 5th grade on, but I don’t think I was ever officially diagnosed with anything.

My school years were before terms like ‘2e’ & 'gifted but learning disabled(USA) ) were in existence, so not picked up as having a learning difficulty . A comparable child nowadays would fit those categories. Things are still quite a way from being perfect, but thankfully much better than when I was in school.
