I’m really scared my pancreas is going to kill me. Doc said it was stable and April I scan again. I’ll be 44 in a few weeks. I at least hope to make it to 45. What you guys think?

You look very young for 44 I thought you were in your 20’s or 30’s

I think you’ll be fine. Just keep going to the scans to monitor it. The scans will put your mind to rest about it.

I’ve had pancreatitis before but i don’t worry about it, there’s really nothing i can do about it if it decides to flare up again. When i did have it, a clear liquid diet helped the inflammation go down.

Thx. I am changing my diet slowly. Do you have any issues with your pancreas now?
It’s crossed my mind. My mom had pancreatitis. Actually both my parents died from cancer, if I’m going to worry about dying it would be dying from cancer.

No issues currently but i get lipase and amylase labs drawn every 6 months to keep an eye on it. It’s very painful when you have pancreatitis.

My pancreas was surgically removed so I’ve had to worry about more than I wanted really.

Yes. I’ve worried about it. That’s because of lower back,lower stomach, and pelvic pain.
