They check my temperature at work for the coronavirus and it’s always over 100 (meaning they’re sending me home but I don’t feel sick). I can’t figure out what’s causing it.
Covid19 causes high temp at begining so its better to get tested. Ap usually not bring such issues.
APs have nothing to do with fever.
You should get tested
Stay at home and away from others.
You could be infected with the Coronavirus.
Call the docs if your breathing becomes labored or if your temperature rises even more.
There’s a rare syndrome you can get from APs that causes fever so that’s why I asked
You mean Neuroleptic malignant syndrome?
Its a very rare allergy that occurs in apparently genetically predisposed individuals.
Its symptoms are too severe and you wouldn’t be able to post here if you had it.
From Wikipedia:
The first symptoms of neuroleptic malignant syndrome are usually muscle cramps and tremors, fever ,symptoms of autonomic nervous system instability such as unstable blood pressure, and sudden changes in mental status agitation, delirium or coma.
Okay. Yeah that’s what I was talking about. The only symptom I have is a fever. I’ve had it over a week now without being sick.
Its probably just flu but make sure you don’t have other coronavirus symptoms.
I haven’t checked my temperature in a long time. But I can get overheated on my medication. Medication can affect the part of the brain that controls your temperature. You should still be watching yourself for Corona virus of course.
From what I’ve read, some people who get corona show mild or no symptoms, but can still transmit the virus. so your work is just playing it safe.
