Has anyone got the PIP payment for schizophrenia? There is a lot of criteria’s you have to fill. You have to have so many points.

I get PIP, standard rate in both. Fortunately didn’t have to go to an assessment, that would be quite stressful I imagine. One of the mental health team filled in my forms for me which probably helped massively
How much PIP did you get? How long ago did you apply? As I think you have to do assesment now.
£300pm. I got it about a year ago, dunno anything about any changes since then

I filled in forms and went interview but I wasn’t award pip so I get housing benefits and ESA I do alright
Zenmind how long did it take between filling in form and getting payment? Did they backpay you?
My memory is terrible, but I think it was a few months maybe. And I think I got backpay
I applied for dla quite a few years ago and got rejected. My community support worker who has access to my medical notes filled in the forms for me, and made copies of relevant documents that I had no access to, and sent it it off for a PIP. I got it, back in December '17
So after the phone application which took 20 minutes, I left it iin the hands of the outreach workers and succeeded. If I were you I would ask your community support worker to do it for you. I didn’t even have to go to the interview.
I just got pip again as my last one ran out. I get enhanced rate but not mobility. I thought I was going to get rejected. Last time I had to go to court. These things make no sense to me.
This worries me. I have my PIP meeting with a case worker tomorrow morning at 11am. I am really worried about getting stressed about it but I will speak to this person tomorrow. I have looked at the criteria, and written down how it affects me as I won’t be able to remember everything unless I write it down.
