Saying that they gave you $1400 in 2021, and to file a return if you didn’t get it? I can’t remember if they gave me the money or not.
All I could find was $600 from the IRS deposited to my account 01/04/2021. Does anyone remember when they gave out $1400?
You either got it or you didn’t. If it’s not in your bank statement, most likely you didn’t get it.
I got a similar letter. It said IF I got it. It didn’t say I got it.
When I was filing my taxes, I told them I didn’t get it so I got a large sum added to my tax refund.

Or you can call the IRS up and ask them about it; they should have a record of it. They’re hard to reach though, especially during tax season. If you call, call first thing in the morning when they open.

Ok. I found the $1400. I received it April 7 2021. I misplaced April’s bank statement.
Glad you found it.
They deposited it in January.
