I like my meds. But on occasion, seemingly at random, my meds will kick my ass and I will be totally sedated
Yeah, same here. I go through periods of extreme sedation too
I get sedated by clozapine, but it also helps to sleep. It’s a two-edged sword.
@AppleKidd @Jonathan2 you guys up early too? Up late?
Actual @Jonathan2 you are on CET right?
Yes I am in Madrid, it is in the same time zone as Belgium. I went to bed at 8 pm and woke up at 4 am. I do think I need a second coffee.
You’re up early as well. How is your anxiety today?
5:54AM. Up late tho, haven’t slept yet
Anxiety is ok I think thanks @Jonathan2 . I fell asleep at 6pm last night and woke at 2am. I like this schedule.
@AppleKidd ah yeah. I am very familiar with uber late nights. You got anything on today or can you sleep?
Luckily my sedation is passing now
When I was on olanzapine I had switched from regular tablets to orally disintegrating tablets and the first night or so it felt like the knock out gas in movies, I spun around dizzy fell into bed and was out for the night and morning until afternoon. My meds now (invega) is not sedating, I take it in morning when I wake up, I do miss the sedation at some times tho as I struggle maintaining a sleep schedule and I used to have to be chemically knocked out in order to not stay up till the am
I hear you @cigarino sometimes the sedation is welcome huh? My favourite prn is Thorazine and it’s sedation can be very welcome
I thought I’d beaten sedation as last week I woke up feeling great
But that all went to ■■■■ this morning
That’s pretty much my schedule 6 to 2am every night. I like waking up before the sun.
