It’s a very dehumanizing experience. I don’t feel like the hospital staff handled it well at all. But then again, I’m the crazy guy, what do I know? When people ask what the worst part of sz is, I often answer 4 way restraints. It’s only happened twice. I like to forget about it but I thought about it just now and it was bugging me.
What ended you up on 4 ways?
I just got heavy doses of haldol and thorazine injections that put me to sleep then I woke up feeling un-psychotic
Never ended up in the padded room either but I’ve seen people who have

Depends on who you ask. I don’t know really. I felt like the way I was behaving was justified.
I was put in handcuffs before while being transported to the hospital by police, but that’s it.
Well the only person I’ve heard of who ended up on 4 ways thought he was Satan… so I’ll take a guess that you’re not as crazy as him. Did you get in an argument with a staffer? Some of them are stressed out and over sensitive.
I can say for certain I didn’t think I was Satan lol. I mean I kind of attacked staff. Kind of.

It’s funny when the staff complains about being stuck in the hospital for 8 hour shifts like “ughhhh”, I’m like “IVE BEEN ON MY SHIFT FOR 2 MONTHS STRAIGHT HERE”

If I’m in the hospital, I try to get out as fast as possible. So I say and do whatever they want to hear to reach that ends.
I was hospitalized twice in emergency for 2 nights each. Helped me get grounded… They were horrible experiences… Wow we’ve been through a lot

I remember my wrist band had a spelling error. Inbetween letters it said ‘bor’ which stands for whore in my language. And i felt horrible and thought i was mother of harlots

My first hospital experience was an 8-day nightmare. Lowest point of my life… atleast I had the delusions to keep me entertained.
