I have seen some huge ones in Africa.
They are out there
A slug once fell from the rafters of my barn onto my face when I was a young kid and it completely freaked me out I’ve never screamed bloody murder harder
We have them in the uk and they’re out when it rains… they make me want to puke.
I wish they were edible I like escargot
It’s a good way to deal with your fear right to just eat something if you’re afraid of it
Gross gross gross… unfortunately I can’t cos I am vegetarian but even if I was not I would still not go near a slug.
My phobia is snakes
poisonous snakes and spiders …I’ve been killing over 3 brown recluses lately in my house…freaking out…(fiddlebacks)
I’m a vegetarian too!
The only thing I fear, is fear itself. So I guess I have phobiaphobia.
I’m afraid of being assassinated if you say such things
Not wierd, considering my condition - but other people. Thought Broadcasting. Need i say more.
I have the fear of snake’s
Yes. Plenty. Though it is a bit of an ebb and flow thing. Sometimes they are there. Sometimes they arent. And they change over time. E.g. I had a fear of butterflies for ages, because I had a scary dream about them. Now this is completely gone.
I’m so terrified of bears I can’t even handle seeing them at the zoo.
I’m afraid of water and inclines (like steep driveways), but I don’t think it’s a phobia as they don’t really affect my life, and I don’t make concessions to avoid them.
I do have emetophobia, or the fear of barfing. There’s a whole backstory, but I definitely do things to try to avoid this in both myself and others, including carrying dramamine and offering it to my kids if we go out to eat and have to drive back, avoiding movies if people get sick on them (I watched Home Alone once and never again!!!), stopping my much needed anxiety meds so they will be more effective on a plane ride, spending an insane amount of money on headphones with really good ANC so I won’t hear if someone makes weird noises (coughing, clearing a throat, or burping all make me nervous), chatting strangers up and asking about how they do on planes (they usually end up thinking it’s my first time flying, and I’m nervous. I don’t correct them), etc etc. I make a lot of plans based on people potentially getting ill. I’ve had this since I was a kid. I used to have horrible nightmares about it regularly, mostly as a child. Thank goodness at least that has gotten better. My family knows how bad it is to the extent that my 16 year old actually told me to leave the room during her last blood draw because she was feeling sick and then apologized to ME, like she’d done something wrong. I hate that part of it.
Puppets and ventriloquist dummies.
I can barely be in the room if there’s something with it on the tv.
I have a fear of snakes… and some bugs…
