I don’t have a job and I don’t socialize enough. I don’t have enough to do. I also hear voices. That’s why I suffer from major depression. I’m trying to figure out how many people suffer from depression who have sz. I’m guessing it is like 95% of people suffer depression who has sz.
i’m in emotional pain now n then, but i will be ok. hopefully!!gotta add that on!!!
and i have anxiety related depression.
I have severe depression And schizoaffective disorder. I take Prozac and lithium as well as clozapine And Invega. I think that lithium has help me the most with depression.

I have psychotic depression- no wonder why I am depressed. I’m more depressed than psychotic.
I have depression but my Celexa seems to help alleviate a lot of it. But whenever I lower the dose or go off it I get really down and suicidal. I need to stay on it
I have to take Wellbutrin daily for it. It came out of the blue at me some years back. I’m actually doing pretty well overall and have no reasons to be depressed. Think brain chem is wonky.

Why only some ppl have negative symptoms and others don’t on meds? Others are even taking bigger doses and have no negative symptoms…Its the disease too.
I’m sza and my depression is pretty severe. My meds help most of the time but it still breaks through from time to time.
Please consider every one has different genetics, have been exposed to different toxins and some have undiagnosed diaeases.
A lot of things causes negative symptoms. B12 deficiency, b6 and vitamin c defiency, thyroid problems, hypogonadism, lead poisoning, cushing’s disease, lyme disease, infections, histamine intolerance or dao deficiency, nicotine whitdrawal,benzo whitdrawal, phenibut whitdrawal,cocaine whitdrawal etc,celiac disease whit active autoimmune proteins.
The symptoms from all those illness can mimic mental illnesses. Is a common practice for psychiatry to mistake a biological disease whit mental illness.
And the drugs apport no benefit, is only to make the patients more manageable

I was clinically depressed the Spring of 2019 and was suicidal. My pdoc put me on an antidepressant which I stayed on six months to a year. I’m no longer depressed and off the AD. I think my depression was due to my mom dying in 2018 and being alone now.
I was suicidal from my delusions and not from depression. I never had any other mental illness than schizophrenia.
