I have one art work that has some Chinese in it (I think it is Chinese), what does it mean?
To me, it looks like the word that automatically gets.censored. Maybe I’m just tired.
I thought it was Chinese too, but the characters on the bottom right are Japanese for sure. Looked it up and it’s Japanese Kanji for the season of “Autum”: http://www.how-to-learn-japanese.com/japanese_word_for_autumn.html
秋 = qiu = autumn
四李 = si li = 4 plums
Oh yea never mind shenzhixian is totally right I got lucky lol
All Kanji (漢ĺ—) characters are Chinese characters. I’m surprised you were able to find that character and translate it from Japanese.
Oh I didn’t know that! I’ve never seen the character for plum so I thought it was Japanese. I remember it was Chinese for a season but couldn’t remember which one so I looked up “Japanese seasons”. The only word I could remember to pronounce was si for 4. It’s been a long time!
It was some detective work lol thanks for letting me know about the kanji!
Thanks … I learned something new today.
That character isn’t quite clear actually but it does look like the surname 李 as in “Bruce Lee”. 秋 or “aki” in Japanese is quite a common word.
