Anybody have this issue?

I’m pretty sure I’m getting “silent migraines” which make no damn sense to me. Anyone else get them and know if it’s a sz thing or just normal?

I don’t get migraines. I don’t think it’s related to sz. I don’t know what you mean by “silent” migraines though.

It’s pretty much a migraine that doesn’t hurt. Kinda makes no sense but it causes vision changes which don’t help my visual hallucinaations @Bowens

No I get the auras but also with a headache. The worst headache. But the aura comes first and the headache comes on afterwards.

Both symptoms are caused by a spike in blood pressure, first compressing the inner gubbins of the eye, and then stretching the capillaries in the brain.

But is that what a silent migraine is? Because I don’t even get headaches

I was diagnosed with visual migraines / ocular migraines. It’s not related to Sz/SzA. Mine might be related to my fibromyalgia. Sometimes I get a headache with the migraine, sometimes I don’t.

Wow. Thanks for the feedback. Just one question, is it anything g I need to worry about? @Blossom

There some images for it but they’re not super accurate.

Huh? It’s a real thing

@ATARI @Ribbon jist posted what it is… I’m a little confused to what you’re saying

What is fibromyalgia? I always wondered that @Blossom

No problem.

And no, I don’t think so. I read about it, and you only need to seek emergency medical care if the visual migraine lasts for more than an hour. As it could indicate a bigger problem.

But I get them all the time and I just deal with them as they come. They don’t usually last too long.

Ok awesome thanks😌

Yes definitely a real thing, and I believe it is a symptom of PTSD, which many SZ will also suffer from. My migraines are linked to abandonment trauma, and are triggered by stress. Sometimes I get hives too.

Oh well yeah I defiantly have some of ptsd for some things I can’t really share and just psychosis in general can cause ptsd. Thanks for the input

I told the doctor I had atrophied head muscle. It seems like what you’re calling a silent migraine.

Hmm idk. I just know that silent migraines happen to me. Idk what your talking about feels like but the silent migraine just makes my vision different. Lights flash and some things are just off

I get a lot of blind spots.

Hmm?. . .

Your Vision Is Impaired And Not Your Brain?.

Wouldn’t That Be Some Sort Of Eye Problem?.

Maybe Go To An Eye Doctor (???).
