i got mild to moderate sinusitis and i also have schizophrenia, is it a coincidence? anybody had a ct scan and also had sinusitis?
I’ve had a blocked nose since I was 13 or so.
Soon after I became mentally ill.
Both I still have. But I don’t see a connection. My mom had sinus problems too but she’s not mentally ill at all.

I want to go to a hospital for check but it is very hard for me to go to a public place with a lot of people in one area , there are many people in the common longue, i feel stuck in action and decision now.
it is hard for me to go out as well when i come across a lot of passer-by, i have no idea why it is like that ,i dun feel any spy camera/ people watching at me, but there is the “issue “ there,i just feel very hard to go out , maybe in my consious mind i am so scared of people looking at me but my mind lie to me that i dun even realize it but just feared
Don’t waste your time and risk yourself getting coronavirus from the hospital, mentally healthy ppl get as much sinusitis so its not causing your schizophrenia. Genetics are the biggest cause of sz.
Also your Dr won’t give you a ct scan just for sinusitis. I had sinus problems and the Dr just looked it up with a camera in my nose. Had polyps and had surgery to remove them.
Logically a relationship is possible.
If you have breathing problems, it weakens you and puts you at increased risk for delusions, psychosis etc.
