Life is tragic enough. We always take for granted. All the little things we do during the day. We feed our pets we feed ourselves. Then we forget to say grace. And all the time we’re doing laundry… We forget how nice we look… Who watch TV and leave a mess… Until we finally get tired of it… Where is all the normal stuff? We used to ball about…
I leave a mess until my wife gets tired of it. That takes 0.347 seconds and then I clean the mess because she can take me in a fight!
Tonight was kind of ho-hum. I wanted to go to the lake and paddle board because it was warm out, but I have an upset stomach and it turned out to be a good idea to stay near the washroom. There is no place to go when you’re 4 km from the dock.
Grace is a magnificent word that few people have yet many speak of or pretend to have.
Saying grace is praying best one can .
Indeed there are many every day things to be grateful for such as the food we eat and beds we sleep in.
I’m not a member of any religion but I do pray sometimes and say thank you and so.
Remember Elaine in Seinfeld when she was a personal assistant and her employer said she had grace but not much but you don’t want too much because that’s painful he said.
And I reckon it is painful.
