I’ve always had this dream of inventing the Next Big Thing, but for whatever reason it hasn’t happened yet.
A couple of things I’m currently working on are my inflatable dartboard and a screen door for submarines. I’m also writing a book on how to read. I have high expectations for all of these ideas.
In the near future I expect to have a prototype of a telescopic penile implant. It will include a personal assistant (Penelope) and Bluetooth capability. This will allow the user to stream Pandora and order a pizza at just the right time.
There is ongoing military research & development in acquiring the functions of human brainwaves to guide robotic hands and move cursors on computer screens. No hands required just the thought process.
Also, glass screens that act as monitors which can become clear & opaque that react to touch gestures.
Augmented reality or virtual reality glasses/goggles that are battery powered which would replace display screens of smartphones.
Speaking of smartphones, Samsung is going to release the Galaxy X which has a folding screen.
