I have anxiety with my family coming over to my father’s house. I have social phobia. It makes me nervous, because I am afraid to eat in front of my family. Does anybody else have anxiety for the holidays?

Yes I do all my male cousins are married and I don’t even have a girlfriend I’m like the weirdo cousin

I am about the same. My sister is married… and my two cousins are married. I am the only one who is single. Also my father is married….and my aunt is married. My uncle is not married.

I was concerned about eating in front of my family too, but just remember to chew with your mouth closed and eat in sync with your family, not too fast. For social anxiety, go out with a friend or loved one, maybe you will feel more comfortable.

My holidays these days are basically immediate family and the nieces and nephews. It’s pretty great cause everyone I see during the holidays I see on a regular basis.
