Anxiety and intrusive thoughts on the golf field

How can I handle anxiety and intrusive thoughts on the golf field. 18 holes usually takes 4 and a half hours, I get tired at the 11th hole. Last time I felt really sick and couldn’t complete the last four holes. It was really disappointing. Hate thinking intrusive thoughts while playing. I try to pray to clear my mind.

Yeah it can be tough. Stick with the meds and keep it low stressed. Stress will make symptoms more severe so avoiding it is a good idea. Golf is relaxing but long! Get a bit fitter. 1/2 hour of walking a day is great if possible. Walk as fast as you can. Being fitter may make it easier to stay relaxed out on the links…
