Another visit to the vinyl shop

I came out of there with very different kinds of music. Sex pistols - never mind the bollocks, pink floyd - meddle. Joan Baez - Here’s to life, The friends of distinction - whatever.

Listened to sex pistols which I heard many times before, but first time to listen on vinyl. And Meddle. I didn’t know if I would like any of the early albums since “Relics” wasn’t to my taste. But I liked Meddle.

I would buy vinyls of my fav dnb tracks if vinyl didn’t degrade.

That’s a sweet score on the Sex Pistols record. That was a very big album back in the late 70’s.

Thanks. Yeah, it was a pressing from 1977, Sweden. Classic album. I might be feeling a little bit old for punk rock in my 40’s. I seem to lean towards lighter music nowadays, but just had to listen to it on vinyl, and it was a good listen.

Whoa! That’s awesome, man!

Yeah, I’m 41 but I still listen to a lot of punk and emo. It keeps me young at heart.

I’m listening to The Get-up Kids atm.

Vinyls may degrade, but with proper treatment they last a lifetime. Also some vinyl has good market value. If you buy vinyl that is sought after it’s a investment for the future.
