There are actual blind archers out there who are VERY good. My friend talks of them occasionally.

My dad went to an archery lesson recently. Where they live the council organises free starter classes in a range of different subjects and he took archery and clay pigeon shooting (separate classes).
He liked Archery best.
I’ve always wanted to learn archery. I can’t find lessons where I live though.

No, I’m not one for hunting. I used to do some varmint control with a .22 back when we lived on a farm. Felt horrible every time I plunked a gopher or skunk. I take no pleasure in killing. I like meat, but I need to be removed from the, er, “harvest” of it.

I think archery is fun. We had a unit on it at one of the schools I went to. I was actually pretty good at it.
I remember at summer camp 8th grade we were doing a relay race against another team where you had to complete a certain activity to get to the next part of the race, and the first event was archery and it was me and another girl. I nailed the bullseye on the first shot and put my team a good 10 minutes ahead. We ended up winning by a long shot as a result lol.
Maybe someday when I have more time and money I’ll take it up as a hobby.
