A quote I like from Bruce Springsteen a true American patriot.
It certainly touches on our situation doesn’t it?
Who are we ?
Bruce says it at some of his live concerts. As far as I can gather, he borrowed the line from a famous American poet who lived in the twenties I believe. The poet was speaking about America, and he was talking about the shunned people in American society at the time. The poor, the minorities, the sickly, etc.
Springsteen, uses the line to mean the working class and the defranchised in America, upon who he bases his songs and his image. There’s a better explanation then this, but this is basically it.
That’s a very good explanation Mr.Nick.
Thats too emotional, Elyn won and we didnt, John won and we didnt, Fres won and we didnt.
The only way to win is to wake up, live, love, earn, invest, spend, and win.
Ahh, that would be a noooooouuu.
Hi there good Sir you’ve been missed.
Look up “Ubuntu” its a meaningful African view
big thing right now is that everyone gets a trophy,
your thoughts on this?
It kind of cheapens the spirit of competition.
yeah, for the disabled it’s good though, like Special Olympics, sled hockey, volleyball, or other sports,
just that you tried your best, and my son loves it. My daughter got Hustler trophy in basketball camp,
it should be a surprise that you’ve gotten it, or maybe didn’t know it existed.
Thanks , yeah , nice to be back
I feel this is a appropriate song for this thread
That was damn frightening. I’m going to have nightmares tonight after watching that.
