I love guitar and normally talented but when I’m manic I’m crazy impressive ! I play ear year and some change
I doubt my diagnosis yet I have moods when I feel super creative and other times I don’t care for anything.
Don’t doubt it accept it it’s not to hard for doctors to notice a mood disorder I don’t think there wrong in your case so take your meds don’t stop because you feel fine.
I definitely agree
maybe because your brain is like in overdrive… could be the case that you think a little bit faster! but it could also be just your perception of yourself… like when you drink, things can seem funnier. maybe when were manic things just seem better
im sure youll figure out the answer
I took an IQ test (full, culture fair) when I was super manic. Results said gifted and 130+. Now that I’m stable I’m sure it would be lower. I think my brain being more active, confidence in my abilities (not second guessing myself), and more interest in knowledge all played a part.
All that being said, IQ can be an overrated stat in everyday life. Street smarts and emotional intelligence are more important, imo.
I don’t doubt psychosis it’s only my moods I doubt.
I like guitar. Do you have a guitar?
I remember experiencing a euphoria on Latuda and acting like a total idiot.
That definitely could be the case more believeable than my second thought which is that I have powers /abilities!
Very true I think I have good emotional intelligence cause I’m not book smart I really sucked at school which is embarrassing
Yes I own two electrics! do you have one ?
Do you think it was mania or latuda can just make some euphoric
It’s possible it made me high although I never took more than prescribed.
That’s interesting hopefully your off it and feel better!
Yeah I’m back on Invega, and a number of other meds, and much more stable and calm.
Hey Sis, I have a cheap $100 electric which is yellow and a $100 acoustic. They are good guitars for so little money only it’s a little hard to make a f major bar chord. Even my nylon string guitar has that problem and it’s a better guitar. My prize possession is a $320 mandolin. I don’t often use my electric and acoustic. I mostly use the nylon string guitar for intermediate classical pieces and some blues music. I would like to get a better nylon string guitar that’s easier to play but I’ve put a lot of work/energy into it and I’d want it to go to a good home. Maybe one day I can do a trade in at a used music store.
You should trade it in a music store !
