Am I just a b*tch?

For not letting my husband light off giant a** fireworks on our property??

My dad, mom and I all say no…

We live in the woods… our field is dry… the trees are dry… the house is dry…

I am not willing to risk our property and house for the entertainment of my husband and step son🙄 and yet my husband doesn’t understand why we’re not letting him…

It’s your parents property so I would say it’s their decision as to whether or not he can light it off there. Seems like a pretty simple to situation to me. If he wants to light it off tell him to go somewhere else.

I did tell him to go somewhere else… but him and his cousin are acting like it’s ridiculous that we’re not gonna let him😆

Is it legal there to light them off?

Well, there’s one more reason that you can say no then :stuck_out_tongue:

Oy vey,

I’m sorry @anon61987434,

But your husband clearly has no respect for you or your family’s property.

Like I said in the other thread, you guys should spend some time apart.

No kidding. The local fireworks started a grass fire behind where we were standing. We didn’t notice because we were looking forward at the show. It took the police rolling up and telling us to move to clue us in. Kind of freaky. I guess some embers from the fireworks fell and lit the grass.

That’s the fire.

You’re right. They’re wrong. I know of houses that have burned down because of fireworks. … This makes me want to reminisce - I had just gotten out of jail, and I was walking down this street lined by dry, wood frame houses. I came to this place where there were all these wooden palates stacked up on top of each other. There must have been substantially more than a hundred of them. There was a tank of natural gas next to the palates, and there were all these pools of an oily substance that looked very flammable surrounding the tank of natural gas. If that situation is still there, all that is needed is for some firework to land in that oily pool, and the whole thing would will go up in flames. Dry, well ventilated wood burns very hot and fast. The wood frame houses could have been set on fire too. I notified three businesses and two fire stations, but nobody did anything.

Normally I would say yes, but considering how hot and dry many parts of the country are, and that most wildfires are man made I would say no you’re not, you’re being responsible. Just tie some glow sticks to some shoe strings and swing em around and play techno lol.

Sheesh…

Yeah exactly. I’m pretty sure we are in a high fire hazard area.

Wtffff?? My husband still did the fireworks on our property! And now he won’t give me the effin front door keys! Cause he knows I’ve been tempted to lock him out!

No offense but that’s not a very bright thing for him to do. Especially in dry climates.

I’m sorry you’re having to tolerate such behavior.

For real though,

He does not have any common sense

You lock your husband out of the house? That’s funny!

We’re going to have to call you and your husband The Bickersons.

Seems like you two are always arguing about something.

I don’t think your being a B, maybe rearrange to light it off in a safer place, win win.

There’s nothing wrong with you @anon61987434.
Your so-called husband- you already know. No need for me to say anything.
