Hello, so I have 5mg valium prescribed in sos but I sometimes take 40mg in day. I take valium almost everyday and I do it cause I’m not ok and because if I do don’t it I’ll self harm. I can’t talk to a psychiatrist because of Covid-19 right now. I also like the way valium makes me feel. What do you think I should do? and do u think I’m adicted to it?

I think the fact that you are asking us if you’re addicted to valium shows that you probably are.
You’re taking more than prescribed and like the way it feels,
Both not good.
You should call your doctor and tell them,
See what the next step is.

The dizzy sedated feeling you get from valium and other benzo is not a normal feeling its actually due to toxic effect you are feeling like that. Also body get used to it meaning you need to gradually raise the dose to get same effect. Thus its not a solution for any problem.
It’s just a guideline to give you an idea. But if you’re answering yes to a lot of these you may have a serious problem and possible addiction.
