My Mom and I are listening to the audio book because we are both vapers has anyone tried to quit with this book? What is your opinion on this book
I know it doesn’t work for everyone but champix/chantix was so easy. It’s a partial agonist and it’s clever tech and I tried everything and failed. Problem is is that people use it then go and have a night out or so and start smoking again…if you want to really stop I would recommend it first.
How many days do you take pills?
I had like a months supply of pills. I smoked a lot first two weeks on the pills then just stopped smoking. I didn’t even finish the course of pills even though I’d recommend you do what they say. It was so amazingly easy. It’s worth talking to your doc about it. My shrink got me onto it and never looked back. A pack a day smoker for most of 25 years. Now 13 years off.
Congrats on being 13 years smoke free!
I tried it and I’m still smoking.
It’s not for everyone but for me as a hopeless nicotine addict it was amazing. So easy and I’d be smoking butts because I was broke. That really got to me how addicted I was to that evil leaf. It’s so worth giving up simply because of expense. They’ve just about taxed smoking out of our market. It’s well over a dollar a cigarette now. I couldn’t smoke on a pension…
Yeah. It’s common. You have to get to a date and stop. As I say. It doesn’t work for everyone.
My dad was a smoker. Smoked until the day he died. I’m happy for you. Please don’t start again.hugs rox
I read the book. Didn’t succeed at the time but I quit a couple of years later.
You can do it if the timing is right (and you have some nicotine gum).
I had a delusion something bad(I can’t say what) was going to happen and I quit. After two weeks I stopped thinking about it. I call that an ultimatum, like if I use LSD or shrooms again I won’t come back. Scary.
