All you insomniacs: I got a great suggestion for a

gift you can ask of your family for Christmas. It’s a cool little device called, Dodow, and it gets you to fall asleep.

It got me asleep the very first time I used it, which was last night. I woke up once during the night but went right back to sleep and awoke fully rested.

I highly recommend this device. www.mydodow.com

I do box breathing exercises before bed with the “tripp” app on the Quest 2, but usually i use an alexa skill called “sleep jar” for 2 pounds a month that plays ambient sounds at night.

@Naarai What you do is basically the same thing as what the Dodow device helps you to do which is slow, abdominal breathing.

It is quite pricey for what it seems to be.

Mixed reviews on amazon.

Glad it works for you though!

I think I can get it for £30 on amazon warehouse.

I’ve gone for it. I often have diffciulty getting to sleep and wake up during the night, and often even with meditation I can’t get back to sleep quickly. It is silent so won’t worry the neighbours.

It is worth a try. thanks for the recommendation @SkinnyMe

It’s cheaper to just try and watch an episode of Rings of Power. Puts me to sleep in ten minutes.

Watching a Mass before bed always works for me…lol

I have Lunesta. Works great

I put my radio on npr which airs the BBC World news service after midnight. The British accents put me to sleep, lol, it’s true!

Second night of Dodow. It worked like a charm!! I did it for 20 min. until the end, then rolled over and went straight to sleep.

It does help to have meditation experience.
