Anyone ever have voices that you thought as alien and all you had to do is convince them you don’t have the resources to help them for them to go away? If so has it helped?
Hah. Tried that years ago, didn’t work. What worked was medication and therapy. Am now free of voices.
I’ve taken all sorts of meds over the years and none of them even touched my problem. As soon as I told theses voices I have no viable resources or any connections to any resources. Everything started to calm down with my so called hallucinations.

I had an argument with one of the voices and it wouldnt speak with me after that

These are the sort of things you should not write to someone posting here trying to get help for his delusions.
It will only feed them and does not encourage the person to seek help.

Dont delete you account over one person. Then you’ll just be alone in this again. There are a lot of dumb rules on here and some very rude people who use this forum to bully everyone who thinks differently about schizophrenia. I call it a spiritual attack but whatever you call it, it is still here. Certain people don’t understand why you could possibly think this is anything but a malfunction when there is actually a lot of beauty in the voices. They can’t believe because talking back is a no-no and you’re giving the voices sentience when you believe that they are something external. You do what works for you and just skip over the posts that don’t relate to your topic. He thinks it’s his job to police every schizophrenic into thinking like him. It’s okay. You have friends here.
